Settle and Giggleswick, taken from Castlebergh Rock, looking west. Settle Town Hall and market place can be clearly seen in the foreground, as can the railway slicing the town in half. The place I stayed at - Whitefriars - can be seen immediately to the left of the car park which itself is by where the road can be seen to go under the railway viaduct, by the Shell petrol station. Again, Giggleswick school can be seen in the distance, together with its chapel. Malham Beck running through Malham. The ducks which live in this beck are very tame, and moither tourists sat on the benches outside the pub behind me. Malham Beck once more, a little more upstream at Malham Cove.
